Joe Musso has dedicated his 26-year career to advocating for nursing home and assisted living residents and their families, securing millions in compensation for victims of abuse and neglect. He is a sought-after speaker nationwide, educating lawyers, families, and advocacy groups on preventing nursing home abuse. Joe has testified before state legislatures on nursing home staffing requirements and has co-counseled with attorneys across the country on abuse cases.
He is the Past Chair of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Long Term Care Litigation Section and President-Elect of the DC Trial Lawyers Association. Joe is an active member of the National Consumer Voice and the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Nursing Home Litigation Group, where he has served on key committees.
Joe resides in Ashburn, Virginia, with his wife Kim, their children, Daniel and Maddie, and their Rottweiler, Charlotte. Joe enjoys weightlifting, cooking his grandmother’s Italian recipes, and cheering for the Washington Commanders—despite frequent disappointment.
